Matthew Dellehunt

 

 

Through my studies, I've been blessed with the opportunities to travel around the United States on two month long trips, visiting hundreds of architectural and urban projects spanning all types and styles of design. Each of the trips were constructed as a class where we would have Architectural history discussions and presentations at works, and also have many sketching exercises throughout each day.

For the first trip we flew to Seattle, and took a bus all the way to Phoenix, AZ over a 30 day span, stopping in as many places as we could along the way.

The second trip was slightly longer, but seemingly much shorter because we covered much more territory and projects. We basically did a very large circle around the Eastern and Midwestern parts of the United States. Beginning in Buffalo, we traveled east to Boston, south to Washington D.C., west to Kansas City, then north to Minneapolis, and finally back to buffalo.
